Good Morning New Hampshire’s Jack Heath to Host Affordable Housing Town Hall

Good Morning New Hampshire’s Jack Heath to Host Affordable Housing Town Hall
September 17, 2024

The Pulse of NH presents a special Town Hall about Affordable Housing at the BNH Stage at 16 S. Main Street in downtown Concord on Tuesday, October 8th from 9am-12noon.

Host Jack Heath will focus on defining the current crisis and give current rental and housing costs that are pricing too many seniors and new home buyers out of the market.

The current cost of new homes has doubled in recent years. In Rockingham County, the medium price of a home is now close to $800,000. Rents are rising with inflation. Finding a rental home for less than $3,000 a month is a challenge.

This Town Hall will offer solutions, and outline ways communities can coordinate with developers and the state to produce more Affordable Housing.

Guests and a live studio audience will discuss the Affordable Housing issues in our country.

This event is open to the public, and admission is free. There will be a coffee reception beginning at 8am.

Presented by AARP New Hampshire, fighting for affordable housing so Granite Staters can age at home.
