Hassan, Chief Discuss Bill To Battle Epidemic

New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan and Manchester Police Chief Peter Marr are working towards putting an end to the fentanyl epidemic.

The two have discussed a bipartisan bill Hassan reintroduced that’d treat fentanyl as a deadly drug under the Controlled Substance Act.

Hassan says such a change would give police an extra tool to make sure they can stop drug distribution networks.

Marr says drug seizures have been up lately and overdose fatalities are down.
