Homicide Suspect Remains at Large Following Fatal Beating in Manchester
A homicide suspect remains at large in Manchester.
Local police say 33-year-old Akim Alleyne faces a manslaughter charge for his alleged role in Thursday’s death of 46-year-old Te-Jay Thomas.
Police department sources say witnesses told officers they’d seen Alleyne and Thomas arguing outside a Domino’s Pizza at the corner of Lowell and Maple streets.
The dispute reportedly turned physical, culminating when Allenye knocked Thomas to the ground and continued to beat him before running away.
Investigators say Thomas died later from injuries consistent with blunt-force trauma.
His death was subsequently ruled a homicide with Alleyne as the sole suspect.
