House Expected to Vote on Marijuana Bill
Members of the state House of Representatives are set to vote Thursday on a bill that would legalize the sale of recreational marijuana.
Supporters claim the legislation would make it easier for the production and sale of the drug to be regulated.
But opponents say the legislation may have an impact on the health and safety of kids, lead to increased gang activity and trigger a deterioration in mental health.
If approved by the House, the legislation must also pass the Senate before going to Governor Sununu.
