Hurricane Ernesto Prompts High-Surf Advisory Along Seacoast
A high-surf advisory was in effect over the weekend off New Hampshire’s beaches.
State officials say rough surf and rip currents will remain possible through Monday night as Hurricane Ernesto continues on a northeasterly direction some 600 miles off the Seacoast.
Boaters and other ocean enthusiasts should be aware that the storm’s passage is driving increased wave action off all New Hampshire beaches.
Waves of up to seven feet are likely in some areas.
