Layoffs Announced At UNH

As part of the effort to reduce spending 23 employees at the University of New Hampshire are losing their jobs.

Additionally, 13 vacant positions will not be filled, and ten employees are having their hours reduced.

Other cost cutting measures are also being implemented.

The Legislature cut 18-million-dollars in funding from the University System of New Hampshire, which includes for UNH, Plymouth State University and Keene State College in the latest state budget.
