Lit Candle Being Blamed For Starting A Fire

A lit candle is being blamed for starting a fire in Manchester that caused over 300-thousand dollars in damage.

Crews were called to the scene of a home on Grove Street Saturday and arrived to find flames coming from the back of the residence that had already spread to the first and second floors.

One person was inside at the time and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

No firefighters ended up being hurt.
