Local Police Investigate Back-To-Back Bank Robberies in Manchester
Police are investigating Friday and Saturday’s back-to-back bank robberies in Manchester.
Officials say the first happened Friday around 2:30 p.m. at the Bangor Savings Bank on Baker Street when the robber walked up to a teller and slid a note under the windows demanding cash.
The suspect, described as a white man wearing a white baseball cap and a blue shirt, left the branch with an unknown amount of cash.
The second holdup, at TD Bank on Franklin Street, happened Saturday around 11 a.m. when a man who had draped a yellow construction vest over his face told the teller he had a gun and demanded cash.
He left the scene on a bicycle with at least two bags of cash.
No injuries were reported.
