Man Killed by Police on the Piscataqua River Bridge

A murder suspect was shot and killed by police early Thursday morning on the Piscataqua River bridge at the state line between Portsmouth and Kittery.

It’s believed he killed a woman in the Cheshire County town of Troy overnight.

The body of an eight-year-old child who had been shot was found in the man’s car.

Authorities said the incident is under investigation and that there is no threat to the public.
