Manchester DPW Worker Recovering After Truck Accident

A Manchester Department of Public Works is recovering after being injured in a trash truck accident.

The worker ended up being crushed against a pole while riding the truck Thursday on Platts Avenue.

The victim was brought to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries to his lower body.

Authorities say they do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
