Manchester Inmate on Work Release Back in Custody

A 34-year-old inmate on work release is back in custody after being placed on escape status last around 8 o’clock Wednesday night.

Angel Caballery failed to return to the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester by 7 p.m.

The state Department of Corrections said he clocked out for lunch from his job and didn’t return.

However, later last night DOC said Caballery, who is serving time for first degree assault with a firearm, had been located and was in custody.
