Manchester Residents Seek Relief from Loud Opera Music

Some Manchester residents are singing the blues after the 7-Eleven on South Main Street started playing opera music in the wee hours of the night last week.

Officers were called to the convenience store Wednesday around 1:30 a.m., although police have not confirmed if the call was related to the music.

News 9 reports that store employees told a resident the music is ‘store policy to keep the homeless away.’

The mayor’s office is reportedly looking into the situation.
