Member of NH State Senate Releases Statement After Arrest

A member of the New Hampshire State Senate who is facing multiple charges has released a statement following his arrest.

Investigators say Keith Murphy spit on and slapped an employee earlier this year at the Manchester restaurant he owns.

Murphy claims that he’s innocent and that he believes that when all the facts are known that police will have ended up charging the real suspect in this case.

Murphy is out on bail and due in court next month.
