Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Dover

The cause of a motorcycle crash in Dover Wednesday night is under investigation.

State troopers responded to the scene near exit seven on the Spaulding Turnpike around 8:45 p.m.

A preliminary investigation indicated 20-year-old Yorky Acosta of Chicopee, Massachusetts, was traveling south when he lost control of the motorcycle on a curve, went off the road, hit a guardrail and was thrown off.

His injuries are serious but not believed to be life-threatening.
