Nashua Leaders Criticized for Handling of Homeless Encampment
Nashua leaders are facing criticism from residents for their handling of a homeless encampment.
During a meeting Wednesday, some people who live near the encampment in the Crown Street neighborhood said they feel unsafe.
The encampment was set up earlier this month to give folks who do not have a place to live a temporary spot to stay.
Right now, the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter is full, and it’s unlikely any beds will be available for several weeks.
