New Hampshire CEO Tells Congress Tipping System Needs No Changes
A New Hampshire CEO thinks Congress needs to consider keeping the nation’s current tipping system in place.
Some states and cities are considering changing the way tipped workers are paid.
Tom Boucher of Great New Hampshire Restaurants told lawmakers in Washington, D.C. Monday that the system now in place is better for businesses, servers and customers.
He says servers at his Copper Door in Bedford usually earn about $20 to $30 an hour.
