New Hampshire Senator Shaheen Discusses Possible Government Shutdown

New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen was holding a series of discussions Monday with business and community leaders about the impact of a looming government shutdown.

She had meetings scheduled in Portsmouth, Concord and Bedford.

If Congress fails to provide funding for the fiscal year that starts October 1st, government services will be disrupted and hundreds of thousands of federal workers will be furloughed without pay.
