NH AG’s Office Approves Sale Of CMC To Company

The NH state Attorney General’s office is approving the sale of Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.

Work on the 110-million-dollar deal began in 2023 and is going to turn the hospital into a for-profit facility operated by HCA Healthcare.

Officials say getting this agreement done is important because the hospital has lost money in four of the past five years.

HCA already owns Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Frisbie Memorial Hospital in  Rochester and Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
