NH Licenses More Than 650 Nurses In Three Week Period
A big nursing boost for the state.
Governor Chris Sununu says under a new Executive Order the state has granted licenses to more than 650 nurses.
“We are breaking down barriers to ensure our healthcare system has the staffing needed to respond to this winter surge”, Sununu said.
He told Good Morning NH that COVID will likely stick around for a long time, a small Band-Aid will not fix this, we need to continue to prepare for the long term.
Sununu also said he agrees with the decision to cut back the COVID-19 quarantine time, calling it a good move.
“10 days was too much and it didn’t follow the science, the best thing we are seeing is the Biden Administration is listening”, he said.
