NH-ME Power Outage Update – 4-8-2024
Crews from New Hampshire’s two leading utility companies continued their efforts to restore power to areas left in the dark following last week’s late-season winter storm. Authorities with Eversource announced that all customers are back with electricity. Meanwhile, the New Hampshire Electric Coop reportedly has deployed almost 400 technicians to get the lights back on and as of this morning there are still about16-hundred customers in the dark.
Thousands of Maine residents still are without electricity from last week’s nor’easter. As of early this morning, just over ten thousand Central Maine Power customers were still off line. The utility says more than 98 percent of last week’s widely scattered outages have been restored. The power company says over a thousand line crews are working with 600 tree crews to make full restoration, which is not expected until tomorrow.
