A 44-year-old Merrimack man is dead in a one-vehicle crash on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua. State Police said Christopher Duval lost control around 1:15 a.m. yesterday, crossed several lanes on the northbound side and crashed head-on into median barrier. He was the only person in the vehicle.
An investigation continues into what caused a crash on Interstate 93 that left three people dead. According to State Police, there was a single-vehicle accident at the Exit Two off-ramp of the highway yesterday. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and slammed into culvert before coming to a stop. The driver, 70-year-old Rodney Dore and passengers 70-year-old Anna Dore and 45-year-old Lisana Alexander passed away at the scene.
The cause of a two-alarm fire yesterday afternoon in Pittsfield is under investigation. Four people including two children who live in the house were not home at the time. Channel 9 reported authorities said a neighbor saved a dog who was inside the house. No one was hurt.
