A school bus was involved in a collision with a car in Pelham this morning. The crash happened near the intersection of Keyes Hill Road and Mammoth Road around 6:45 a.m. There were students on the bus at the time of the crash. Everyone on the school bus was checked out at the scene and no one was taken to a hospital. There were no serious injuries. Four people inside the car were injured, including two who were seriously hurt. A medical helicopter was called to the scene for one victim. The other three were taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
An oil truck rolled over in Meredith earlier this morning. The rollover crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. A portion of Route 104 was closed in the area. Police say there were serious injuries as the result of this accident.
Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that heavily damaged a home in Tilton last night. According to the Tilton-Northfield Fire and Ems, the fire was reported around midnight at a duplex on Chestnut Street in Tilton. The people inside the home were evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Red Cross is now helping those who were displaced. The cause of the fire still under investigation.
New Hampshire State Police dropped a silver alert for 73 year old Eugene Burroughs of Milton after he was found dead. The alert was originally issued Sunday. Burroughs had last been seen between noon and 1 p.m. at his home on Winding Road. The circumstances of his death have not been released.
