NHEC Getting $50 Million in Funding to Expand Internet Access in State
The New Hampshire Electric Cooperative is getting $50-million dollars to help expand internet access in the Granite State.
The money will be used to provide fiber optic networks to thousands of locations in over 70 communities.
Congressman Chris Pappas says 10% of households in the state currently do not have an internet subscription.
He believes getting those residents online will improve their quality of life.
