No Injuries After Single-Engine Plane Ditches Off Hampton Beach

No injuries are reported after a single-engine plane ran into trouble and ditched off Hampton Beach Saturday.

Witnesses say the single-engine, Piper PA-18-150 aircraft flipped immediately after it hit the water around noon.

Lifeguards helped the pilot, who was alone in the plane, back to shore.

Police say the pilot told them he had experienced engine trouble shortly before he was forced to ditch.
