No Injuries Reported After 12-Year-Old Girl Leads Police on Chase

No injuries have been reported after a 12-year-old girl led police on a chase that ended up going through multiple communities in Cheshire County.

Officials say the girl was behind the wheel of her father’s pickup truck Tuesday and at one point, a spike strip was laid down to pop the vehicle’s tires.

The girl eventually stopped before running into a wooded area where she was quickly taken into custody.

She has already been released to her parents.
