Noted NH Writer/Illustrator to Be Featured on Upcoming U.S. Postage Stamp
The image of New Hampshire children’s book author and illustrator Tomie DePaola is coming to a postage stamp near you.
DePaola, who died three years ago at the age of 85, rose to prominence in the 1980s and ’90s with a series of popular children’s books, including ‘Strega Nona,’ which spawned a series of adventure sequels.
DePaola’s work spanned five decades, a career that saw him write and/or illustrate 270 books.
