One Dead Following Midday Saturday Pedestrian Accident Near Belmont

One person is dead following Saturday’s pedestrian accident near Belmont.

Local fire officials say the victim was walking north along the southbound side of the along Route 106 near the Park and Ride on Laconia Road when they were hit sometime before 11:30 a.m.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Police are investigating.
