Overdose Deaths Dropping in Nashua and Manchester
Opioid overdose deaths are declining in New Hampshire’s two largest cities.
American Medical Response says that so far this year, opioid overdose deaths are 9% lower than last year in Nashua and 20% lower in Manchester.
It is believed that the decline is in part due to the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services installing emergency overdose kits, which include Narcan, in hundreds of locations across the state.
