Pedestrian Killed on Fisherville Road in Concord

A pedestrian died after being struck by a car Wednesday morning on Fisherville Road in Concord.

Responding to a 5:50 a.m call for a motor vehicle pedestrian accident, Concord police officers reported within one minute of their arrival that they had begun CPR on the pedestrian, who was then transported to Concord Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The victim was crossing the street but not in a crosswalk when they were hit, though the exact circumstances and cause of the collision are still being investigated.

Details about their age have not been released, pending notification of family.
