A Hooksett police officer arrested a Pittsfield man with an outstanding warrant at the Circle K gas station in town earlier this month and then discovered that the suspect was in possession of controlled substances, police said.
37-year-old Shane Russell had an active warrant out of Belknap County Superior Court.
The vehicle was seized and a search warrant turned up a bag containing multiple suspected illicit drugs, including approximately 158 alleged grams of Fentanyl, 44 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 16 grams of crack cocaine, police said.
