Police ID Suspect Fatally Shot Following Standoff Situation in Kensington
Local authorities are releasing the name of a man who was fatally shot by officers following Monday’s police standoff outside a Kensington home.
Department sources say they got the call around noon that a man was criminally threatening a person inside a home on Olivia Lane.
Following an hours-long standoff, 29-year-old Anthony Previte reportedly exited the house brandishing a firearm at around 10:30 p.m.
Officers reportedly opened fire, hitting Previte in the chest and head.
He was declared dead at the scene.
No one else was hurt.
An investigation is ongoing.
