Police Seek Man Accused of Hampton Flare Gun Shooting

Police in Hampton are asking the public’s help in tracking down a man who allegedly used a flare gun to shoot another man in the face on Thursday.

Arrest warrants were issued on Friday for 37-year-old Elton Stanley.

The alleged assault happened around 4 p.m. at a gas station in the 600 block of Lafayette Road.

Police say Stanley faces felony charges of second-degree assault and reckless conduct.
