Portsmouth Vandalism Reported

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and Portsmouth police are looking for whoever spray-painted swastikas on multiple Portsmouth businesses and the Temple Israel synagogue. Surveillance cameras show a person wearing a red Maine sweatshirt and a facemask spray-painting the graffiti late Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Attorney General John Formella says this type of criminal activity has no place in New Hampshire and won’t be tolerated. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 603-427-1500
