Public Water Customers May Get Letter in the Mail
New Hampshire residents who use public water may soon be getting a letter in the mail.
The letter is going to detail the materials that are used in their service lines and it’s part of a new federal requirement related to lead in drinking water.
The state is in line to get roughly $44-million dollars in federal funding aimed at getting lead out of the water.
If you don’t get a letter, it indicates your service line doesn’t have lead in it.
