Report Shows Two-Bedroom Apartments Unaffordable

A brand-new report shows only 13% of two-bedroom apartments in the Granite State are affordable.

That data was gathered by New Hampshire Housing and reveals the average yearly salary needed for a two-bedroom apartment is $73,000.

That’s far above the average renter’s salary of $56,000 a year.

The executive director of New Hampshire Housing says the high cost of these rentals is the result of supply and demand.
