Retired Brig. Gen. Bolduc On PTSD, Assisting Veterans In Their Time Of Need
Retired Army General Don Bolduc talking live on ‘Make 12 Hours Count’ Radiothon.
Bolduc suffered a traumatic brain injury in a bomb blast and helicopter crash while deployed.
After 32 years of active duty, Bolduc developed PTSD, but kept quiet about his symptoms.
He talked about challenges he and others veterans in our state face, and how people can support our service men and women in their time of need.
Bolduc’s brought with him a memorial he made to the 72 soldiers he lost over 10 deployments.
“This memorial has 72 dog tags inside. I take it with me everywhere. It’s a dedication to how they lived. I use it to confirm my word is my bond, my handshake is my contract, you can count on me”, Don Bolduc said.
