Second Week of Alexandra Eckersley Trial in Manchester

The second week of the Alexandra Eckersley trial is underway in a Manchester courtroom.

On Friday, jurors heard testimony from one of the EMT’s involved in the rescue of the newborn baby that Eckersley is accused of abandoning in a wooded area in 2022.

Prosecutors claim Eckersley mislead search crews for about an hour before telling them where her son was.

The child was suffering from hypothermia but survived.
