State Funding for Northern Border Security

The Executive Council Wednesday approved about $500,000 for northern border security.

Supporters said the funding will be used to fight crime and illegal activity coming in from Canada.

Governor Chris Sununu has said the border is under increasing pressure and that the federal government hasn’t done enough to help.

The ACLU of New Hampshire counters saying there’s no need for the funding.
