Swimmer Drowned at Hampton Beach
A swimmer pulled from the water Tuesday night at Hampton Beach has died.
The New Hampshire State Police Marine Patrol said a surfer rescued one of two men yelling for help around 7:30 and called 911 for help rescuing the second man.
Twenty-seven-year-old Wandy Bethancourt-Adames of Lawrence, Massachusetts, was brought to shore by firefighters.
He was pronounced dead at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
