The Fall Covid-19 Surge Is Here
State Health officials say the number of hospitalizations and deaths in New Hampshire from covid-19 are on the rise.
“The fall surge we have been talking about is here,” Governor Chris Sununu said.
According to the latest state report, 207 people are currently hospitalized with the virus.
Health officials say 11 people have died from the virus over the past two day, 6 of them are associated with long term care facilities.
Health and Human Services Commissioner Lori Shibinette also said the state has documented 7 new covid-19 outbreaks at long term facilities across New Hampshire.
Governor Chris Sununu says he will resume his weekly press conferences for the foreseeable future.
