Thousands Without Power In Maine
Yesterday’s storm has knocked out power to tens of thousands across the state of Maine.
Wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph led to power outages in central and eastern Maine, but there was less flooding than anticipated from Wednesday’s storm. Restoration efforts are underway after the storm knocked out power to thousands of homes and businesses across Maine.
Central Maine Power Co. reported more than 21,000 customers without power today.
Versant, which serves northern and eastern Maine, reported more than 62,000 customers without power.
Eversource in NH says less than 20 customers are without power today.
