Utility Customers Could See Some Of The Highest Bills In Years; Eversource Talks Impact on Consumers
The states largest utility is warning New Hampshire customers to prepare for bills to rise significantly.
“The average person using 600 kilowatt hours of power each month will see an increase of approximately $70.00, the supply rate is going from 10.7 cents to 22.6 cents”, Eversource spokesperson William Hinkle said on Good Morning New Hampshire.
The utilty company says the rate increase, pending approval by the Public Utilities Commission, would take effect August 1, 2022.
“We we want our customers to know we are here to help, we want you to reach out and discuss any assistance programs we have to help out, they can help anyone struggling to pay their bills”, Hinkle said.
