Victims Still Waiting on Payments in Youth Detention Center Case
Victims of alleged abuse at New Hampshire’s Youth Development Center are telling their stories.
The state-run detention center in Manchester is the center of a massive investigation led by the state’s attorney general’s office that started in 2019.
Since then, a 100-million dollar settlement fund was created to compensate survivors of the abuse at the hands of staff at the YDC.
While some have been paid, many say they haven’t seen any money since the fund was established and now they’re speaking out.
