Woman Hospitalized After Jumping Into River Saturday Afternoon in Nashua
A woman is hospitalized after she jumped from Nashua’s Main Street Bridge Saturday afternoon and had to be pulled from the Nashua River.
Witnesses say the unidentified woman took the plunge around 2:15 pm.
A Good Samaritan jumped into the river and was able to pull the 41-year-old woman to a shallow ledge at the river’s edge before first responders used boats to retrieve both and bring them back to shore.
The woman, who police say ingested quite of a bit of water, was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment.
No charges were announced.
