Pelham police said when they arrived at the scene, they found the woman sitting on the northbound side of the road, and the vehicle that had struck her was gone.
Woman Injured In Hit-And-Run In Pelham
A woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash this morning in Pelham.
The woman was struck just after 7 a.m. near Muldoon Park on Mammoth Road.
The woman suffered significant injuries, but police said they were not believed to be life-threatening. She was taken by medical helicopter to Lahey Hospital in Burlington, Massachusetts.
While police don’t have a description of the vehicle involved, they say it should have damage to the passenger side mirror or the front passenger corner. The area is known for joggers and walkers.
