9/11 Memorial Light Beams Atop Mount Washington

Twin vertical light beams will shine from atop Mount Washington from tonight through Saturday in memory of the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks 25 years ago.

The beams of light will project three miles into the sky and will be visible from over 100 miles away.

The display is modeled after the annual Tribute in Light near where the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center once stood in Manhattan.
