No Evidence of Bird Flu in New Hampshire Cows
There is no evidence of bird flu in New Hampshire dairy cows.
There are reports of infected cows in eight other states, but none in New England.
The Union Leader reported that state officials said they are closely monitoring the situation and that milk produced in the Granite State is safe to drink.
A spokesperson for the state Department of Agriculture said there is a high level of confidence that the pasteurization process will protect the commercial milk supply.
