Two Motorcyclists Dead Following Vehicle Collision in Manchester
Two Dunbarton residents are dead after their motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle early Friday night in Manchester.
Local police say it happened shortly after 8pm near Elm Street and Pearl when a southbound sedan slammed into the bikers as they were making a U-turn.
Both the motorcycle’s riders, a 34-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman from Dunbarton, suffered critical injuries in the collision.
The woman reportedly was declared dead at the scene.
The man died at the hospital sometime later.
Police say the motorist, who remained at the scene, was not hurt. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
