New Hampshire GOP Reacts to Trump Conviction

Some New Hampshire Republican officials are voicing support for former President Donald Trump in the aftermath of his felony conviction in the hush money trial.

Party Chair Chris Ager said the verdict erodes confidence in a fair justice system.

Candidate for Governor Kelly Ayotte called the verdict disappointing and said the justice system should not be politicized.

Chuck Morse, also running for Governor, said the weaponization of the Department of Justice to target a political opponent is an affront to American values.
