Study Shows Willingness to Pay to Protect Against Forever Chemicals

A new study confirms many New Hampshire water customers would be willing to pay for more treatments to reduce PFAS chemicals in water.

The Journal of Water Resource Planning and Management published the study recently.

Per the report, households on public water systems are not opposed to paying more than $150 annually to protect them from ‘forever chemicals.’

The study also found that younger respondents said they were more concerned over tap water safety.
